Biography

Attorney Goodrich is a life-long resident of the State of Connecticut. Attorney Goodrich grew up in New Milford, Connecticut and graduated from Canterbury School in 1994. Attorney Goodrich received her Juris Doctorate from Western England College School of Law in 2001 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Roanoke College in 1998. While attending Roanoke College, Attorney Goodrich was named a Fintel Scholar in 2000 as well as was named the recipient of the William Setzer Award in 2001. 

After graduating from law school, Attorney Goodrich worked for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch as a Temporary Assistant Clerk for one year. During her time at the Courthouse, Attorney Goodrich was assigned to the Family Division. In June 2002 to 2010, Attorney Goodrich worked as an associate for the Law Offices of Helen Allen in Danbury Connecticut with a focus on Family and Bankruptcy Law. In 2010, Attorney Goodrich opened her own firm as a solo practitioner and focused in the areas of Bankruptcy, Debt Resolution, and all areas of Family Law including but not limited to Divorce, Child Support, Custody and Visitation disputes. During this time period, Attorney Goodrich dedicated a significant portion of her practice to the area of Juvenile Law which covered Neglect Petitions, Termination of Parental Rights, Delinquency Matters and Adoptions. 

In 2010, Attorney Goodrich was certified by the State of Connecticut to act as a Guadian Ad Litem and Attorney for the Minor Child after attending the “Providing Effective Legal Representation on Child Abuse and Neglect Cases” presented by the Center for Children’s Advocacy at the University of Connecticut School of Law.  

In 2017, Attorney Goodrich was invited to be part of the “Finding Words” Seminar. This seminar was led by a multidisciplinary group of professionals including members of the States Attorney’s Office, Department of Children and Families, Local and State Police, Medical Providers and State Investigators. At that seminar, Attorney Goodrich participated in and was certified as one of the only Private Attorneys in the State of Connecticut to assist children and prepare them for their exposure in Criminal Court as victims of abusive crimes. 

In 2020 Attorney Goodrich was honored by the State of Connecticut Bar Association Juvenile Law Section as one of the top performers in the Juvenile Law and Child Welfare Field. 

In 2024, Attorney Goodrich attended the Connecticut Counsel for Non-Adversarial Divorce in which she was certified to represent clients who wished to resolve their divorce proceedings through the collaborative process and avoid the high costs of litigation. 

That same year, Attorney Goodrich became a named partner in the firm of Conti, Levy, Salerno & Goodrich, LLC. 

Attorney Goodrich is licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court, District of Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Litchfield County Bar Association. She is currently serving as President of the Litchfield County Bar Association and serves as a Special Master in the Danbury Judicial District. At a recent seminar, hosted by the State of Connecticut Probate Judges, Attorney Goodrich was asked to present to the Judges regarding the differences between Superior and Juvenile Court compared to those are held in the Probate Court. 

Outside of Court, Attorney Goodrich spends time with her husband and two children. Attorney Goodrich and her family enjoy spending summers at Cape Cod as well as attending sports events. Attorney Goodrich is also a board member of the Children's Center of New Milford and serves as Advisory Council to this organization.
